Harvesters Food Network

TOPEKA , KANSAS (Topeka Capital Journal) - A free food distribution program will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Rossville.

There are no income guidelines. Community Action Inc. and Harvesters Food Network will distribute fresh food and dry goods to those who show a picture ID and Social Security number at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, 806 Nishnabe Trail.

There is a limited amount of food, so it will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Recipients are asked to bring a box, cart or sturdy bag.

More distributions are planned to take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Those seeking information or who want to volunteer can call (785) 235-9296.
