Muscular Dystrophy Association
EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA (Eden Prairie News) - It costs about $800 to send one child to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Summer Camp. The Eden Prairie Fantastic Sams location is selling decals for $1 and $5 from Aug. 1 to Sept. 3 to help send more kids to Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp; all funds raised will be delivered during the Sept. 6 MDA Labor Day Telethon. Guests are then given a coupon for that same amount off their next salon service.
“Fantastic Sams, which offers a full range of hair care and color services, contributes to a variety of local nonprofit and volunteer efforts in Minnesota communities. This is the first time Fantastic Sams has supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association through the Summer Camp Program,” according to a news release.
Guests who purchase a decal can write their name on it, and Fantastic Sams will display all of the decals in the salon through Sept. 3. For more information, call 952-746-0999 or visit the salon at 10165 Hennepin Town Road, Suite 107.
