LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (Hollywood.com) - The How I Met Your Mother star teamed up for the mission with bosses at the Guerrant Foundation, which aims to help women and families improve their lives through loans to start businesses.

Radnor, who turned 38 on 29 July (12), documented his trip to Africa on his Twitter.com page and wrote on his big day, "Northern Rwanda. Birthday. Gorillas. Light mist."

He returned to his page on Sunday (03Aug12) and told his followers the trip had a profound effect on him.

In a series of posts, he writes, "Was so moved by my trip to Rwanda. What's gone on there since the 1994 genocide is astonishing. Took an inspiring tour of the new Butaro Hospital in Northern Rwanda."
