WINNIPEG, CANADA (Winnipeg Free Press) - Hilary Duff is working with Johnson's on a new charity campaign.

The singer-and-actress - who gave birth to her first son Luca Cruz in March - has teamed up with the baby cosmetics company to support Johnson's Baby Cares project which will work with Save the Children to help impoverished families.

Hilary announced her involvement on her twitter page, writing: "Big News! I'm working w/ JOHNSON'S Baby on its new charitable program, JOHNSON'S Baby CARES - I love being a mom :) (sic)"

Among Johnson's Baby Cares goals is to supply families across the world with baby care essentials immediately after disasters, and to fund Save the Children projects such as Child Friendly Spaces, which supplies mothers and children with safe areas to recover, play and live together as a family following devastating incidents.

Although Hilary is going to be busy working with Johnson's on the new scheme she finds it hard to be away from little Luca - her child with husband Mike Comrie.

She tweeted on Thursday (12.04.12): "Almost home to feed my little bambino! nice to get away for an hour to do something good for myself! But I miss his little face when I'm gone (sic)"
