Animal Defense League
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (San Antonio Express) - The Animal Defense League (ADL) recently agreed to become a high-volume adoption placement partner with the City of San Antonio’s Animal Care Services by accepting up to 500 pets from the city shelter each year to bring to ADL for adoption.
ADL joins San Antonio Pets Alive who has committed to taking 4,000 pets and the San Antonio Humane Society who has agreed to taking out 2,000 pets from ACS annually.
To boost adoptions, ADL is hosting a Name Your Adoption Fee on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – a special pet adoption activity where adopters can name their own adoption fee for any pets four months of age or older (minimum $25). This special adoption will include the pet’s sterilization, microchippped and vaccinations.
