Children's Miracle Network
WATERTOWN, NEW YORK (Watertown Daily Times) - The annual Dancing for Kids Sake 12-hour dance marathon held March 17 at Case Middle School, 1237 Washington St., raised just over $10,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network of Northern New York at Samaritan Medical Center.
More than 200 dancers participated in the event, which was hosted by the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services’ New Vision class of 2012.
Rianna Sutton, a General Brown Central student, raised more than $600 and won the top prize of a laptop computer.
Proceeds will go toward helping sick or injured children in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties.
