KINGSTON, JAMAICA (Go Jamaica) - The organisers of this morning’s Sigma Corporate Run say the event has so far raised over $33 million.
This is just short of the $50 million target that had been set.
The organisers say the money will go to Chain of Hope Jamaica to help the cardiac programme at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.
The Sigma Corporate Run is in its 14th year and attracted over 16,000 employees from 70 companies.
President and Chief Executive Officer of PanCaribbean Financial Services, Donovan Perkins says the turn-out was the largest in the history of the event and adds that it demonstrates the level of commitment by corporate Jamaica.
