KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE (WVLT) - The kickoff to the "Keep Tennessee Beautiful" retreat was held Monday night in Pigeon Forge at the Titanic Museum.

Dozens came from across the state to gather and share ideas on how to improve their community.

The President of Keep America Beautiful, Matt McKenna, flew in from Stamford, Connecticut to kick off the retreat.

"I think if everyone would just take a moment to think, just think of one thing they could do to help out in their community that one thing would make a difference because if everyone does... just think of what an amazing place this would be," said Elizabeth Reed the Executive Director of "Keep Sevier Beautiful".

Statewide there are over one million volunteers that help out with this campaign.
