WELLINGTON , NEW ZEALAND (Voxy) - Britain's Got Talent star releases single for Save the Children New Zealand's programmes in Christchurch

9 May 2011 - Hollie Steel, the 12-year-old singing sensation from the popular UK reality programme Britain's Got Talent has released a single to raise funds for Save the Children's work in Christchurch.

Hollie was shocked to see news footage of the devastation and decided to donate proceeds from her version of Pokarekare Ana to 'help the poor people in New Zealand.'

The track is available on iTunes and Amazon.

Save the Children, in partnership with Plunket and Barnardos, is providing the Journey of Hope Programmes for children and families affected by the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.

The programmes were developed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in the US, and help to build resilience and positive coping skills for children and their parents and caregivers who have experienced an emergency.
