Transparency International (TI) is an international non-governmental organization focused on issues of transparency and corruption in international and national level.TI is a global movement with an exclusive focus on these phenomena. TI, along with national branches, which are currently more than 80, is seeking a transparent environment in both the public and private sectors. Experience from previous operations TI show that the process aimed at increasing transparency and accountability of public and private sector must be based on internal needs and initiatives of each country.Fighting corruption should be conducted by those who are interested in transparency in our own society. Therefore, in various countries created national branch of TI. TI national subsidiary in Slovakia since September 1998, Transparency International Slovakia (TIS), which focuses on issues relating to corruption in the public sector, Slovakia, and at both central and decentralized levels of governance.The main objectives of TIS is to promote transparency, trust and accountability in the public sector in Slovakia.
