Stichting Earth Aid Holland is een kleine, jonge stichting ter bevordering van kwaliteit van leven van gehandicapte kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden. Earth Aid Foundation Holland is a small, young foundation to promote quality of life of disabled children in developing countries. Stichting Earth Aid Holland is opgericht door Fabien Schiereck, nadat zij in India een baan vond als project manager bij een NGO. Holland Earth Aid Foundation was founded by Fabien Schiereck, in India after they took a job as a project manager at an NGO. Na een half jaar in India gewerkt te hebben, zag ze in dat een stichting vanuit Nederland veel zou kunnen betekenen voor haar project en in de toekomst ook voor andere projecten. After half years in India to have worked, they saw that a foundation from the Netherlands could mean a lot for her project and in the future for other projects. Weer een jaar later hielp ze bij het opzetten van de ‘Trust’ Mikka Foundation met de Indiërs waar ze op dat moment anderhalf jaar mee had samengewerkt. Another year later she helped to organize the 'Trust' Mikka Foundation with the Indians where they are currently a half years had worked.

Volunteering in India: the experience of a lifetime! India has no shortage of labour, but of knowledge and experience. Therefore we think it's very important that our volunteers should bring and share their knowledge at the Mikka project, rather then interfering with local ways and habits. For the daycare centre, we are looking for volunteers that work in disabled support who can translate their expertise towards the Indian culture. Can you rise to that challenge? By sending us lesson-plans for the weekly workshops we give to the mothers about various topics, or with fundraising activities you can contribute from home.
