The greedy developers of the Spring Trails Specific Plan want to build hundreds of homes on the edge of San Bernardino National Forest -- despite potentially disastrous environmental effects and growing public concern.
The San Bernardino City Planning Commission listened to the concerns of many residents and voted down the plan. Now an appeal has been sent to the San Bernardino City Council, which will decide the fate of this dangerous land grab on Feb. 19.
The development plan will hurt rare animals like San Bernardino kangaroo rats -- but also, adding insult to injury, the houses will be built on three active faults in a fire-prone area next to national forest land. The development plan demands funds from the city and potentially adds to the serious foreclosure crisis in the San Bernardino area.
Please act now and tell the San Bernardino City Council to vote no on the Spring Trails Specific Plan.
