Deutschen Entwicklungsdienst DED Charity Profile

Yemen is priority partner country of German Development Cooperation (DC). Germany is a major bilateral donors with a two-year funding commitment in 2007 in the amount of 73.26 million euros (KFW and GTZ, without DED, CIM, InWent, SES). The DED is continuously since 1979 in Yemen and has trained more than 260 professionals deployed. Focus of international development cooperation are: infrastructure (roads, water and sanitation, energy), education, good governance, health, fisheries production.
