Anir Foundation Charity Profile

The Anir Foundation a (501c3) non-profit, was founded by Adrienne Belafonte Biesemeyer along with
her daughter Rachel Blue in 1997. As News broke about the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa,
they felt they had to do something; lots of organization give $$ to a problem, but few give man power
and a chance for individuals to make a difference with their own two hands.

Anir Experience is here to help North Americans see and to experience the beauty and wonder of the
continent of Africa. There is far more then the bad news the media delivers, there are wonderful
peaceful countries on the continent and Anir Experience offers its participants a glimpse of this
wonder while having the opportunity of giving a helping hand.

ANIR Experience promotes multigenerational opportunities for cultural dialogue between people living in the Americas, the United Kingdom and the nations of Southern Africa.
