The mission of Share is to lead the hungry and homeless to self-sufficiency by providing food, shelter, housing, education and compassion through the strength of our community.
Share Volunteer Information
From Share’s very beginnings, volunteers have played an important role in its development. We need our volunteers not only to supplement our paid staff, but also to bring the creativity and vitality that is necessary for the continued growth of our organization. While our clients will directly benefit from your time and talents, we hope that your association with Share will be a mutually satisfying experience as well. Most services provided by volunteers do not require special skills.
Share Donation Information
As a non-profit organization, Share relies on the generosity of our community – individuals, churches and businesses – for the continued operation of our valuable programs. More than 30% of Share’s annual budget is secured through in-kind and private donations, as well as fundraising events.
