We believe hiking trails are our link to wilderness. We protect hiking trails and wild lands, take volunteers out to maintain trails, and promote hiking as a healthy, fun way to explore the outdoors.

Washington Trails Association offers many opportunities to volunteer, including trail work parties, Volunteer Vacations, Youth Vacations, outreach and office volunteering. Each year hundreds of people join Washington Trails Association as volunteers - on the trail, in the office and with the public at events. It's a great way to meet wonderful people, do important work and have some serious fun.
