Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation - Washington State Donation Information
$5 will provide a week of joy and distraction for 10 hospitalized kids with bedside access to a Starlight Fun Center – mobile units with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and Nintendo Game Cube. $10 will sponsor a seriously ill teenager with 10 days of access to Starbright World, a safe and secure online network providing peer support and fun activities where hospitalized kids can be distracted from pain, fear and loneliness.
$25 will help provide a teen with cancer with access to our Coping with Chemo program – a series of online webisodes designed to help kids and teens find positive ways to deal with their serious condition and treatment.
$50 will help provide a hospitalized teen with a week of access to a PC Pal – an internet ready laptop computer so they can stay connected to their friends, do homework, and connect to Starlight's online network of custom designed programs.
$100 will help sponsor a seriously ill child or teen to participate in a Starlight Great Escape event, which includes ball games, movies and picnics. Because childhood illness takes a toll on the whole family, Starlight provides much welcomed opportunities for sick kids to spend “normal” family time together – away from the hospital.
$500 will help fund a Starlight Site – inviting hospital playrooms and teen lounges where pediatric patients and their families can relax, play and interact with other children. No medical procedures allowed in the Starlight site!
