Sound Experience Charity Profile

Sound Experience is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating, inspiring and empowering children, teenagers and adults to work toward a clean Puget Sound.Founded by the legendary folk singer Pete Seeger, the Clearwater organization and its ship have played a significant role in the cleanup and protection of the Hudson River waterway. It was Barbara and Morely's vision that Sound Experience and the historic schooner Adventuress could play that same role for Puget Sound. Sound Experience sails the historic schooner Adventuress to help people discover Puget Sound and learn from its majesty and vulnerability.
