Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) Charity Profile

In order to support people aging in place and living independently in their own homes, the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) has developed a multidimensional approach that includes direct and contracted service delivery; community outreach with disease prevention and health promotion; and strategies to increase access to medical, health care, and supportive services. The Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) exists to help elderly individuals and persons with disabilities maintain their dignity, health and independence in their homes, through a comprehensive and coordinated system of home and community-based services.

Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) Volunteer Information

Peer counseling involves trained elder volunteers who assist other elders to cope with grief, loss, and issues that accompany aging, e.g., retirement, loss of income, loss of spouse or partner, illness and disability. Volunteers also provide referral to local services, including Senior I&A.
