Womencare Shelter Charity Profile

Womencare, a private, non-profit organization was established in 1979 to provide safe, confidential, emergency shelter and support services to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence.Trained in advocacy based counseling, Womencare advocates support battered women and their children as they examine the tactics and dynamics of domestic violence, safety planning, explore options, problem solve, and learn about community resources.
