Volunteers at IslandWood share their time, meet people with similar interests, and assist guests in appreciating the unique qualities and valuable education that IslandWood has to offer. Volunteers play an integral role in the everyday functioning of IslandWood and are an active example of community stewardship.

Volunteers play an integral role in the everyday functioning of IslandWood. You will find volunteers active in every aspect - from gardening and landscaping, educational and community programs, to administration and special events. Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and help them become what they are capable of being. Our volunteers make a positive difference by helping to promote IslandWood's mission "to provide exceptional learning experiences and to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship."

IslandWood Donation Information

Charitable contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations total more than one-third of IslandWood's annual budget and support our education programs for students and teachers throughout Puget Sound.
