SCORE Counselors to America's Small Business is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE provides resources and expertise to maximize the success of existing and emerging small businesses.

SCORE Association Volunteer Information

SCORE volunteers are successful business professionals who volunteer their time to mentor small business owners. They share a belief that small business owners are more likely to succeed if they have a mentor to guide them. SCORE counselors come from a variety of occupations and backgrounds. Many owned small businesses for years; others worked for major firms such as 3M, General Electric and Proctor & Gamble. The strength of the volunteers is in their more than 600 skill areas. They span all generations and minority/ethnic groups. This variety of backgrounds and skills adds value to the quality of SCORE's business advice.
