National Council For Adoption Charity Profile
NCFA has been a champion of adoption since its founding in 1980. Whether as an advocate for state laws that promote sound adoption policy, a resource for federal officials and policymakers about appropriate federal adoption initiatives and reform, a diplomat for sound international adoption policy, or a source of adoption facts and education, NCFA is devoted to serving the best interests of children through adoption.
National Council For Adoption Volunteer Information
At NCFA, our mission is to find loving, permanent families for children, and we rely on our volunteers to help further our mission by meeting our goals quickly and efficiently. We are currently accepting applications for volunteers in one or more of our four departments, including: Training and Agency Services, Communications, Development, and Government Relations.
Volunteers are generally asked to work independently and remotely, but may be asked from time-to-time to work out of our office (only if you live nearby) or to assist with planning and/or executing an off-site event.
A passion for children and adoption is a must. Highly-motivated, creative individuals with a general knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and Internet preferred. All volunteer positions are unpaid.
