Foundation Centro Gumilla Charity Profile

Gumilla the Foundation Center is to serve the transformation of Venezuela from its roots in a more just and humane society. From the perspective of the impoverished majorities, is involved in the current social construct that seeks viable alternatives for economic development, political democracy and social justice, described the participation of each sector.

Founded in 1968, the Foundation Center is Gumilla the Center for Research and Social Action (CIAS) from the Society of Jesus in Venezuela (Jesuits). It is part of the effort of the Catholic Church to make the Christian life a form of solidarity with the anguish and hopes of mankind, to live the cause of the poor of the earth, the longing for peace and justice grounded in love.
