Mckay Dee Foundation Charity Profile
With 10 affiliated clinics, McKay-Dee serves northern Utah, and portions of southeast Idaho and western Wyoming. A part of Intermountain Healthcare's system of 21 hospitals, McKay-Dee Hospital Center offers nationally ranked programs such as the Heart & Vascular Institute, the Newborn ICU and a new Cancer Treatment Center.
Other centers of excellence include: Emergency and Level II Trauma Care, Critical Care, Women & Children's Services, Stewart Rehabilitation Center, Behavioral Medicine and the Community Health Information Center.
Mckay Dee Foundation Volunteer Information
Our volunteers are commited to supporting community health initiatives. They're eager and willing to serve their friends and neighbors. Volunteers provide service at many events and programs throughout our community, as well as hospital and hospice care.
How do I become a volunteer?
Be at least 14 years old, according to facility/service area age requirements
Service commitment varies according to facility or service area programs
Complete an online application or stop by the volunteer office
Provide a character reference
Complete new volunteer orientation requirements
Comply with volunteer health requirements: a two-step tuberculosis screening and proof of current immunizations
Consent to a criminal background check and a drug test
Be physically able to complete the tasks required of the position
