MAMA-86-Artemivsk Charity Profile

In 1990, young mothers, concerned about the impact of the Chernobyl disaster on the health, united to protect the interests of their own children. Since 1991, we - Kiev NGO «MAMA-86-Kyiv». And from 2001 «MAMA-86» is registered in the status of Ukrainian. Now, the organization includes 17 separate unions in different regions of the central office in Kiev. Currently active regional branches «MAMA-86» in Artemovsk, Kiev, Nikolaev, Nezhine, Odessa, Poltava, Sevastopol, Tatarbunary, Ternopil, Feodosiya, Kharkiv, Kherson and Yaremcha.

The purpose of VEHO «MAMA-86» is a socio-ecological conditions for transition of Ukraine to sustainable development - that is, that does not harm current generations and leave the legacy of a world in which you can safely exist.

The mission of our organization - to strengthen the role of women and mothers in the process of government decisions and public education to improve quality of life for present and future generations of Ukraine.
