Actions For Sustainable Society Advancement Of Ukraine Charity Profile
Kharkov's Action for Sustainable Society Advancement (ASSA) organization was founded in July 1997 as a result of an international model project of the Heinrich Boll Doundation that was implemented in Ukraine through the East West Women's Center OWEN (Berlin, Germany). The main body of the organization consisted of the listeners of the social management training course.
The main goal of the organization is to assist in sustainable society advancement through development and implementation of the technical assistance programs of educational and social character as well as advocacy programs in the city of Kharkov.
The organization raises funds for its projects through grants from corporations, private foundations and individuals.
