Alpha Childcare And Community Development Organization Charity Profile

Alpha Childcare and Community Development Organization is a Christian, Non-Profit organisation based in Uganda, working to reduce and/or eradicate human suffering by responding to physical, spiritual and emotional needs of people. ACCOD was established in October 2001 and officially launched on 28th February 2002.

ACCOD is a pro-life organization with a mission to empower and/or building the capacity of individuals, Community Based Groups, Faith Based Groups and other community structures, to enable them be self reliant to intervene and respond to their needs (physical, spiritual and emotional) individually, in their families and in the communities they live in. ACCOD was established with an aim to uphold the sanctity of human life by meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of children, woman, youths, men and generally people facing welfare problems.
