Treloar Trust Charity Profile
Treloar Trust provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. Our aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential. There are four main areas to our work:
Treloar School – a non-maintained special school for disabled children aged from seven to 16 based at Upper Froyle near Alton, Hampshire.
Treloar College – a Beacon status specialist college for disabled students aged 16 and over, based in the outskirts of Alton, Hampshire.
Moving On – a programme to help people with disabilities aged from 18 to 65 achieve a short-term goal.
Treloar Enterprises – the trading arm of Treloar’s, responsible for venue hire and the Treloar shop.
Treloar Trust Volunteer Information
Volunteers play a key role at Treloar's and help us in many different ways. Whether you can offer a few hours a week or would like to work for us in your gap year, we’d love to hear from you.
There are two main ways in which you can work for us on a voluntary basis.
Volunteer Programme
If you are looking for a full-time volunteering opportunity, you can apply for a place on our Treloar Volunteer Programme. During term time, you will receive free board and lodging plus weekly pocket money of £50 and have the chance to get fully involved with this very special community. Most of our volunteers are school/college leavers taking a gap year and are aged 18 to 25 but we are happy to hear from people of all ages. To find out more see our brochure on Volunteering.
Voluntary Helpers
Voluntary Helpers make a huge difference to life at Treloar’s, helping in the classroom, in the Learning Resource Centre or with social and sporting activities. If you can spare a few hours a week or a month we'd love to hear from you.

Treloar Trust Donation Information
Treloar's is a registered charity and every penny goes towards providing opportunities which empower disabled young people to achieve. Everything is getting more complex, more expensive and the fundraising mountain is getting harder and harder to climb. But, we aren't going to give up. All Treloar youngsters face much higher hills and they are not daunted. If you join us, together we can get to the summit.
