United Way of Tarrant County Volunteer Information
Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Give your best. We all have special talents. Things we can do to help. And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Whether itís reading to children, or leading financial literacy classes for hard-working families, or delivering meals to homebound seniors, there are hundreds of volunteer options available every day. United Way's Days of Caring program helps volunteer groups do short-term community service projects for nonprofit agencies and other organizations involved in specific United Way initiatives. United Way Community Development Division committees identify, prioritize and address health and human service issues through strategic use of resources. If a United Way campaign is held where you work, see if you can help plan and implement it. If there isn't a United Way campaign at your organization, discuss the possibility of starting one with your supervisor. United Way staff can provide all of the tools you will need to carry out a successful campaign.

You can do it online, and it only takes a few minutes.You can stipulate that part of your donation be directed to a particular area of concern, such as child abuse and neglect, or a specific United Way community partner.
