United Way of Tarrant County is a local nonprofit organization that advances the common good in Tarrant County. We believe everyone has a right to a good life and a responsibility to improve the community.

United Way of Tarrant County has more than 85 years of experience investing money, expertise and other resources to improve lives and communities. We establish creative collaborations of diverse individuals and organizations because together, we can accomplish more than any single group can accomplish on its own.
United Way of Tarrant County Volunteer Information
Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Give your best. We all have special talents. Things we can do to help. And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Whether it’s reading to children, or leading financial literacy classes for hard-working families, or delivering meals to homebound seniors, there are hundreds of volunteer options available every day. United Way's Days of Caring program helps volunteer groups do short-term community service projects for nonprofit agencies and other organizations involved in specific United Way initiatives. United Way Community Development Division committees identify, prioritize and address health and human service issues through strategic use of resources. If a United Way campaign is held where you work, see if you can help plan and implement it. If there isn't a United Way campaign at your organization, discuss the possibility of starting one with your supervisor. United Way staff can provide all of the tools you will need to carry out a successful campaign.
