Brazos Valley Food Bank View Charity Profile

The Brazos Valley Food Bank, Inc. strives to alleviate hunger in the Brazos Valley by distributing food and educational resources to our neighbors in need through a network of hunger relief partners.

The Brazos Valley Food Bank established May 25, 1985 is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We serves 43 non-profit agencies that distribute food to food insecure and hungry in the Brazos Valley. Over 1,800,000 pounds of food are distributed annually to over 29,000 moderate and low-income persons

Brazos Valley Food Bank Volunteer Information

We work with businesses, civic organizations, or individuals to design a fun and rewarding volunteer program. Each year volunteers log about 17,000 hours. This community support saves the Brazos Valley Food Bank thousands of dollars every year, keeping a low overhead and our productivity levels high.
