White Orange Youth Charity Profile

White Orange Youth’s core vision is for a society where empowered youth work together to eliminate HIV/AIDS. White Orange Youth is dedicated to creating effective programs which are participatory, transparent, and sustainable.

Our mission is to:

• Provide accurate and comprehensive HIV/AIDS and sexual health information to youth
• Provide youth with access to HIV prevention methods
• Empower youth to be peer educators and to link other youth to HIV prevention methods
• Work with local community members, other NGOs, and members of government to advocate for youth and create nurturing environments for youth to teach and learn about HIV/AIDS and sexual health

White Orange Youth pursues this mission through an open-minded, harm reduction approach.

At White Orange Youth we believe in youth acting together to make positive changes for youth and the greater community. We encourage youth to represent themselves and to support each other. We listen carefully to the needs and hopes of youth while building allies in the community who will support youth issues. By working to empower youth, we believe we will positively contribute to the lives of Tanzanian youth as well as the social, economic, and political development of Tanzania

Current we are looking someone who can help on :
• Website design and update
• Working on woy's e- newsletter
• Help on The World AIDS Day 2008 (December first)
• Help on Kilimanjaro marathon HIV/AIDS activities 2009
• Set on youth resource center
• AIDS memorial day 2009
• Fund raising activities and provide Physical social support to most vulnarable and orphance children
