Tanzania Millenium Hands Foundation Charity Profile

Tanzania Millenium Hands Foundation–TAMIHA is a nongovernmental and not for profit organization established in 2006. TAMIHA aims at reducing poverty and other vulnerability situations in Tanzania communities. It seeks to do this by addressing Millenium goals. Its target populations are the marginalized peoples of the poorest regions, such as orphans, widows and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Volunteers provide steps toward larger goals.Sometimes it can be difficult to keep that in mind when you see how much work needs to be done. Don’t be overwhelmed, the impression that you leave behind is immeasurable. Sometimes volunteers with women’s groups spend time chatting with a group of women who are working to become self-sufficient. Speaking about those issues can be an enormous step towards life changing independence.

TAMIHA is a not for profit organization and all its funds are obtained through donations and member contributions. Most of the donations are used to run our projects,and small percentage to pay allowances to the supporting staff and day to day managerial cost.Still you can donate for a certain cause directly,that is,you can give money and instructions as to how you want it to be used. There is no minimum amount for donations,we accept donations of any amount.
