Vision
The DAISY Consortium envisions a world where people with print disabilities have equal access to information and knowledge, without delay or additional expense.

Mission
The DAISY Consortium's mission is to develop and promote international standards and technologies which enable equal access to information and knowledge by all people with print disabilities and which also benefit the wider community.

We have identified seven major areas for goals and strategies which will guide the work of the DAISY Consortium over the next few years.

Invest in technology that is greatly improving the quality of life for people everywhere. DAISY is an international non-profit consortium enabling global access to information. Read testimonials which tell you how DAISY technology has made a difference in the lives of individuals around the world.Our basic funding comes from member fees. Additional income will be used to enhance our current projects and enable us to initiate work on projects that are as yet not funded. There is much still to be done.
