Doctors In The World Charity Profile

Doctors in the world is the Swedish branch of Medecins du Monde, is a religious and politically Humanitarian Relief. We work with marginalized groups to improve access to health care. The starting point is that health care is a human right that should apply to all people on equal terms, even when at war, poverty or on the run. Doctors in the World's goal is to provide help and support to these groups.

Doctors in the world has also made it its task to report on situations where the right to health violated. To raise public awareness and bring media and political interest, we also information operations. By identifying and disseminating information about the underlying causes of ill health, we want to bring about sustainable change.

Doctors In The World Volunteer Information

Are you also interested in working as a volunteer for Doctors of the world? We need more helpers to work at our clinic! We are in need of doctors (including ST-doctor), nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists and other specialists. The clinic is open one evening a week and you choose when you can get. To the clinic to function well, however, require a degree of continuity and it is recommended that interested in thinking through how much time you have to dismiss because we are happy to see that you can stay with us over time.
