Associacio Nereo, Preservador del Medi Ambient Charity Profile

Nereo, Saver of the Medi Ambient, is a NGO sense ànim of obtains that amb goes to neixer l'any 1990 propòsit to preserve, to disclose i to study medi ambient. Nostre first projecte goes to be to create Centre d'Estudis of the Sea (CEM). Situats to the cor of the Costa Brava, instal Begur, estem·lats in one antiga masia of segle XVI adequada i rehabilitated to them nostres necessitats i activitats. Disposem of dues salts d'aquaris, laboratoris of Biology, library, aules of formacio, meteorològica room d'audiovisuals, estacio, i tot allò necessari Rep to desenvolupar amb exit them nostres tasques divulgatives i formatives.

L'any 1992, vam promoure creacio d'una marine reserve to the coast catala, amb l'objectiu to d'estudiar the proESC regeneratiu d'un biotop Mari malmès com to conseqüència of sobreexplotació human. Aquest projecte, is consolidà finalment to març of 1993 quan the costanera strip of Ses Negres, pertanyent when ter to me policeman of Begur, is declared Integral Marine Reserve.
