Workaway.info is a site set up to promote fair work exchange between budget travellers, language learners or culture seekers and families, individuals or organizations who are looking for help with a range of varied and interesting activities.

Our philosophy is simple;

5 hours honest work per day in exchange for food and accommodation with friendly hosts in varying situations and surroundings.

Our aims are;

-to promote cultural understanding between different peoples and lands throughout the world.

-to enable people travelling on a limited budget to fully appreciate living and working in a foreign environment.

-to enable language learners to experience different countries and immerse themselves in their target language whilst living abroad.

Workaway.info holds a database of families, individuals or organizations in a variety of different countries who have registered with us and are looking for volunteer help in a whole range of different fields. From painting to planting, building to babysitting or shopping to shearing, Workaway.info aims to introduce working travellers and language learners to like minded hosts, without having to pay expensive agency fees.
