AEGEE Oviedo Charity Profile

AEGEE (Association DES Etats Generaux DES Etudiants of l'Europe) is one of the associations of greater students of Europe. The own name of the association, AEGEE, already speaks of the sense and the intentions to us that we have like association. On the one hand, AEGEE makes reference to the Aegean Sea (EGEE, in French) cradle of civilizations and point of contact of all the European. In that sense, AEGEE participates and bases some of their projects and more important meetings to the greco style; and it is that our more important assembly, in which we met around thousand students, receives the name of Agora, the public place where the helenos decided, by democracy, the subjects more excellent than they affected to him. Insisting a little more on the concept of the democratic pillars on which AEGEE is based, we will find second of the references that forms the own name of our association, the General States (États Généraux), the first parliament formed during the French Revolution, where all the estates of the society of the time were represented and, among others many profits, established for the first time in history the National Sovereignty.
