St. Mary Foundation Charity Profile

The end of the year is coming quickly and with it comes a feeling. Many of you know what I’m talking about… and it’s not panic that there are only 57 shopping days left until Christmas! November and December bring with them a feeling of appreciation and gratitude. I believe the following quote says much about what we all do through our association with St. Mary’s Foundation.

Recently, The Lee Johannsen Funds were granted to a number of projects benefiting Jones County residents. This long time Jones County resident used his wealth to benefit the health and well being of others in and around his community through planned giving to St. Mary’s Foundation. You’ll find a list of those he touched in this newsletter.

Now is the perfect time to consider a gift of Thanksgiving to St. Mary’s Foundation. The Halos for Hero’s program is a great way to honor a member of St. Mary’s staff for their service and donate to a specific department. Inside, you’ll see a story of dedication of an honoree, 18 years in the making.

As the holidays approach and the afore mentioned feelings surface, I often reflect on the things I am most thankful for. The health and well being of family and friends tops the list. I choose to give thanks for those blessings through annual giving to St. Mary’s Foundation. With a one time gift or through an annual giving pledge, so can you. Maybe you’ve already made an annual commitment to St. Mary’s Foundation, this year you’ve been more blessed and thus increase this year’s generous donation.
