South Pacific Business Development Foundation (SPBD) is a Grameen Bank style micro finance organization serving those living in poverty in the Pacific Islands. Our first target market is the island nation of Samoa.

SPBD's mission is to improve the quality of life of people living in poverty in the poor island nations of the South Pacific. Our first market is the independent island nation of Samoa, in the middle of the South Pacific.

South Pacific Business Development Foundation (SPBD) Volunteer Information

SPBD is one of the most cost effective organizations anywhere in the world at eliminating poverty. SPBD has remarkably low costs and is well managed. We have personally hired and trained a terrific and committed staff of Samoans. They are enormously effective, yet they are equally cost efficient. We need full-time unpaid volunteer. We are confident that none of the major development organizations has a cost structure close to ours.
