AFS Intercultural Russia, Volga Region Charity Profile

Fund Interkultura "(AFS Russia) - an international fund, which brings together 56 countries and involved in the organization of intercultural exchanges.

Mission of AFS is intercultural learning and global education, giving young people the knowledge needed for life and work effectively anywhere in the world to promote personal development, tolerance, respect for other cultures and values of people of other nationalities.

AFS Intercultural Russia, Volga Region Volunteer Information

Volunteers Use their professional skills and become a professional in the field of intercultural communication, volunteers carry out all the diverse activities of AFS. They take care of the foreign participants in the AFS program in Russia, talk about our traditions, language nuances and help resolve conflicts. They advise the host family and the guys that are just going to take part in the program. Volunteers will organize seminars, workshops and master - classes for new volunteers. Assist in the organization of language camps and holidays for students of AFS. AFS volunteers often deal with social and charitable activities of the organization.

Volunteers selected for the Annual Conference of AFS Russia, define the key parameters of development of the AFS in Russia. Volunteers are selected by the Conference of the Council of the Fund, following the embodiment of the decisions taken by the Conference, in the daily life of the Fund.
