Center For Social Partnership Charity Profile

The mission of the project consists in supporting Moscow social associations in their interaction with Local and State Government and between each other.

(Under the term "social associations" we imply non-governmental and non-commercial organizations, whose activity is directed on solving social-significant issues, not including political parties and movements, professional unions, religious organizations, national and sexual minorities unions).

In accomplishing their missions the specialists of the Center issue from the following statement: civil initiative, willingness of citizens for personal participation in solving social problems - are the fundamental values of democratic society. This statement should be realized and accepted by the majority of citizens, politicians, and governmental officials of Moscow and Russia. Our Center works to attain this goal.

Strategic orientation of work:

Perfection of legislation and standard acts in order to form favorable conditions for the work of social associations.

Popularization of ideas of the Third Sector among State employees; forming positive attitude toward civil and social initiatives; involving State employees into search of methods of constructive interaction with NGO.

Research and analysis of progress trends of Moscow social organizations, revelation of contradictions, objective difficulties in taking civil initiatives.

Providing and support of accessible informational exchange between NGO and governmental bodies of different levels; perfect information on NGO activity and all kinds of financial support.

To arrange all necessary conditions for business and informal communication between the leaders and active members of civil and social organizations.
