Youth Action for Peace YAP Romania Charity Profile

Youth Action for Peace – Romania (YAP-Ro) is a youth non-governmental organization, non-profit, having its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, being a branch of Youth Action for Peace (YAP), an international youth organization with headquarters in Brussels.

The mission of YAP-Ro is the promotion of peace and toleration, of understanding among people and the development of civil society. Its objectives are the peaceful coexistence of different cultures, the development of civil society on the basis of human rights and the freedom of conscience, fighting against racism, nationalism, fascism and any other kind of discrimination.

Youth Action for Peace YAP Romania Volunteer Information

The aim of the European Voluntary Service action is based on three fundamental principles.

To provide an informal intercultural learning experience for young people by encouraging their social integration, active participation, and increasing their employability and giving them opportunities to show solidarity with other people;

To support the development of local communities;

To encourage the establishment of new partnerships and the exchange of experience and good practice between the partners.
