Fundatia Actiunea Civica Romania Charity Profile

The project is proposed to contribute to the training of human resources in a field of large interest, especially in the context of the next acceding of Romania to European Union, that of Project Management.

By the project the revision of existing occupational standard shall be fulfilled in order to match the level the European Standards in the field for 2006, the tools for evaluation of competencies shall be improved according to the revised standard and the related competencies of 50 persons shall be evaluated.

The target group is comprised by representatives of business community and of NGOs that shall participate in the evaluation process and as well as natural persons interested to have professional competencies assessed. When selecting the candidates the principle of equal chances between men and women shall be obeyed.

The problem of effective evaluation of Project Managers’ professional competencies is very important under the current context of Romania and in order to be solved, the revision of Occupational Standard and the improvement of related evaluation instruments are compulsory.

The same time the increasing in the capacity of the 2 centers of evaluation of professional competencies is needed, in such a way to enable the evaluation of more professionals that acquired their competencies in the field by practical activity.
