Qatar Diabetes Association Charity Profile

Diabetes is a common chronic disease all over the world it affects all types of society including children, women, youth and adults. Diabetes is one of the world's biggest killers, Every 10 seconds a person dies of diabetes in the same 10 seconds, two people develop diabetes.
The total number of people with diabetes will exceed 333 million by 2025( IDF Statistic Figure)
Hence, the need for Qatar Diabetes Association increase with support of H.H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al- Thani and under the auspices of H.H Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al- Misnad , Chair of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to provides useful and up to date information that will help patients to understand the reality of diabetes, ways of living with it and abidance with proper care through :
Providing innovative patient care
Put a specific plan for diabetes prevention for all society.
Supports Medical Team by providing leaflets about diabetes and coping with it. The QDA strives to help the people with diabetes and those who are at risk of developing it by providing innovative patient care, diabetes education and related services with the hope of improving the overall quality of life for those who are affected.
