Sea, Sociedad Educativa De Las Artes, Inc. Charity Profile
SEA gives a voice to young people through theater and the arts, facilitates learning, provides training and motivates and challenges young people to stay in school. Furthermore, SEA’s programs and performances exemplify wholesome and educational value, strengthen cultural identity and boost self-esteem for all ages and backgrounds.
Our objectives are the following:
• To promote education by means of artistic manifestations and the teaching of arts in general.
• To promote the integration of the Arts in Education as a tool and catalyst to facilitate teaching,
learning and social awareness in the community as well as in the educational system.
• To promote and to develop the talent and the work of young people and new artists.
• To offer a real alternative of wholesome entertainment of cultural, educational, moral and social
value to the public, especially for children and young adults.
• To enhance the values and principles of the Hispanic community and to influence it positively, with
the objective of improving the quality of life. This without excluding other communities and ethnic groups.
• To develop and promote cultural/artistic exchange and expression of the communities and/or groups
and artistic organizations.

VOLUNTEER & INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Available to
1. High school students (ages 16 and up)
2. College and graduate students
Internships are offered focusing on different areas of interest:
• Education
• Marketing/Public Relations
• Operations
• Ticket Services/Box Office
In addition to their experience within a specific area of internship focus, interns will also gain insights about many other administrative areas of nonprofit theater.
If you are not enrolled in school you can still JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER STAFF, working one day a week, weekends or a few hours a day.
