World Business Council on Sustainable Development WBCSD Portugal Charity Profile

The BCSD Portugal - Enterprise Advice for the Sustainable Development is an association without lucrative ends, created in October of 2001 for the initiative of the companies Sonae, Cimpor and Soporcel, associates to the WBCSD - World Business Council will be Sustainable Development, in set with more 33 companies of first line of the national economy, with the mission to transpose for the national plan the orienting principles of the WBCSD. The main mission of the BCSD Portugal is to make that the enterprise leadership is catalytic of a change route to the Sustainable Development and to promote in the companies the echo-efficiency, the innovation and the social responsibility.

The BCSD Portugal is, since its creation, member of the regional net of the WBCSD and counts currently on 112 members.
