Carpathian Mountains Heritage Association Charity Profile

People dedicated to working in environmental protection, whose experience came from other non-governmental organisations, established the Carpathian Heritage Society in April 1999 by. It developed into a constructive organisation, which actively participates in the protection and rebuilding (rejuvenation) of the natural and cultural environment of the Carpathian Mountains. Sustainable development is the foundation of its activities as a chance for present and future. Improvement in the quality of life of the native people is of great importance. All decisions should be made by taking into account the limits of the land in respect to ecological conditions.
The board of the Carpathian Foundation is formed by best laureates from environmental protection. competition in Poland. The competition was organised by the Nowicki Foundation (Fundacja im. Nowickiego) and German Federal Environmental Foundation.
