Ciudadania Sexual Charity Profile

This project looks for to contribute to the construction, at regional level, of an institutional frame able to stimulate so much the investigation as the sexual law in health and rights, with emphasis in the sexualities. Taking like departure point the experience of the Network of Investigation in Sexualities and VIH/SIDA in Latin America, and of an important body of theoretical work and law in sexuality and human rights in this region. It looks for the joint of investigators and activists who work in different aspects from the sort, the sexuality and the sexual diversity in relation as much with the health as with the human rights, impelling the growth of a community interested in these subjects, and facilitating the interchange between individuals and organizations who work in related areas.

The Project Sexualities, Health and Human rights is developed in the Faculty of Public Health and Administration of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, with the collaboration of academic and institutions of the region, and is possible thanks to a donation of the Ford Foundation.
