Montgomery County Association for the Blind's mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of people coping with blindness and vision impairment through rehabilitation, education, support and advocacy.
Our vision is to be recognized as the region's key resource and major provider of service to people with vision loss.
Founded in 1945, MCAB is supported by contributions from donors, private foundations and corporate grants, special events, bequests, and other gifts. MCAB is not part of county government.

Volunteers play an important role in MCAB's mission and enable people in our community to more successfully cope with their vision loss.

Montgomery County Association for the Blind relies on donors, private foundations, corporations, special events and bequests to support our programs and services. Founded in 1945, MCAB is a private non-profit organization and not part of county government. Montgomery County Association for the Blind, Inc. is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
With your support, MCAB can help people who are blind and visually impaired live a more independent and productive life. MCAB opens doors to opportunities; visually impaired people can participate in activities and perform tasks when they have learned skills and strategies for success.
